Based in Bath, personal chef Jesse Davies is passionate about food and flavours. He always strives for perfection and consistently delivers delicious, memorable food.

Specialising in relaxed, authentic fine dining, freelance chef Jesse uses ideas gathered over two decades of experience to create menus for a range of special occasions, parties and events or just a unique meal prepared in your home by a chef in or around Bath, Somerset and Wiltshire

Training and Experience

Jesse trained almost 20 years ago at Michelin starred Lucknam Park Hotel, located on the beautiful outskirts of Bath. For 12 years he worked in reputable establishments across Bath, London, Brighton and Melbourne. He also did a fair bit of travelling around India, Thailand and Australia, broadening his culinary experience.

Since he could walk and talk, Jesse has had a huge passion for music. Growing up in a household where music was such an influential part of their lives, Jess has a hugely varied taste and appreciation for all types of genres. He has been DJing since a teenager and, although now pretty much hung up his boots, still has a mix most evenings to wind down.

His obsession with cooking, travel and music came together in 2006 when he joined the catering team on a series of major music tours. For eight years he worked around the world, delivering high-quality menus to musicians, VIPs and their staff.

Jesse has cooked for some of the most famous musicians in the world and enjoyed every minute of it! After gaining a wealth of experience in catering and travelling extensively, a couple of years ago he decided to settle back in the West Country and start his own new venture.

Now working exclusively in Bath, Wiltshire and Somerset, Jesse focuses on being a personal chef for dinner parties, putting all that experience into private catering events you won’t find anywhere else.
